Using one of my favourite lenses, the Canon EF100mm macro.
Using depth of field to keep the focus on the lilly at f4.5 the ISO was set at 100.
Nymphaea nouchali, common name Purple Lotus, this one was photographed in Singapore. Captured not totally opened in the centre bloom. The macro captures a look at the onion shape and petal colours. The Lotus is a tropical water plant.
